After turning for over twenty years Tim Yoder kept suffering from ‘bevel creep’. Over time his bevel angle on a tool would creep away from his preferred grind. After purchasing several angle gauges that were either cheaply made, too complicated to use, lacking in options or risked dulling his tools Tim decided to design his own angle gauge.
