Hunter Carbide #2 Cutter Assembly

This carbide cutter removes wood at an incredible rate and is easy to control. Designed to work with the Elbo 2 16" Straight Bar. This replaceable carbide cutter gives you long tool life with outstanding finish cuts prior to any sanding operations.

Simply remove the square Elbo cutter bar and insert the Hunter Tool Cutter in its place. Never needs sharpening, just rotate the tool slightly before each use. When the cutter eventually grows duller simply replace it with another cutter.

NOTE: NOT compatible with the John Jordan hook tool

I have one of the original hollowing jigs with the square key stock cutter. The difference in the two cutters, is daylight and dark. I love it.

Tried out the ELBO system this weekend using this Hunter tool and was very happy with it's performance.

I easily installed the Hunter Cutter on my ELBO (original version). Thr first use was the inside if a maple bowl. (dry). The cutter sliced through the wood easily. I am completely satisfied with this tool.

This thing cuts well

I own another Hunter tool with the same (larger) cutter (the golf club). This is a shearing tool and a cupped cutter; hence the angle vs the HSS cutters. I used this towards the end to ensure clean even cuts along the interior wall. GladI ordered it as it produces clean cuts.

This tool is just what I needed for hollowing vases and vessels! Works seamlessly with the Elbo Hollowing tool! And Tim offers great customer service as well. Great products, great service, a GREAT combination!
